CASA DECOR, the leading design and interior design platform, has also become an event that cannot be missed after our involvement last year alongside QUINO BONO ARQUITECTOS, and this year we made a strong commitment with three very successful partnerships.
The first was with the interior designer and feng shui expert Virginia Albuja, who used out Ideaflow material for the ceiling of ‘Life Project Madrid’ at the Copatlife space. Ideatec produced polyester fibre cubes in anthracite grey, which were installed in the ceiling as an acoustic and aesthetic solution. This element, along with the other furniture and decorative products and elements helped to produce a kitchen that went beyond all conventional standards, converting this functional room of the house into a hub for socialising and interacting
Secondly, the interior architect Sandra Antón used our cutting-edge acoustic solutions in her ‘Berlin Calling’ project, in the ESs Arquitectura space and the Casa Decor Auditorium, where we had already installed our acoustic solutions in 2023.
This year’s project, named as a result of its industrial and classic style that is reminiscent of Berlin in the 80s, has a particular focus on acoustics with the addition of our Micro 05 panels from the Perfo range, which were installed in the Auditorium ceiling, lacquered in grey, and also in the walls. As such, this double wall not only offers soundproofing, but also covers the two large enclosures to darken the room.
And, finally, we have the project that earned us the Best Original Design award at Casa Decor 2024. The PersonalK interior architecture and decoration studio, run by Pilar Alberola and Lucía González-Orús, used one of our products in their ‘Marine Oasis’ at the 1 Mira Madrid art gallery. Innovation, design, sustainability and craftsmanship were the values that the jury highlighted when judging our design, a backlit acoustic ceiling that IDEATEC produced with sound absorbent material made from PET that emanates zenithal light to create a warm and welcoming environment.
This symbiosis of perfectly selected elements helped to create a space that was minimal in style but fully immersive. IDEATEC produced several white polyester fibre boards, cut and installed under a light to create a lamp effect, evoking the poetic form of the ‘Pinceladas’ artwork by Juan Uslé, with a clear reference to paintbrush strokes.
