Sustainability

We have been fully committed to sustainability since 2017, when we obtained the ISO 14001 certification, followed by ISO 9001. Our passion for developing new acoustic solutions is intrinsically linked to the incorporation of environmentally friendly materials that are fully recyclable, efficient and safe, in line with our policy to provide spaces that prioritise the wellbeing of people.

We use the LEAN method internally with our employees to promote continuous improvement of our production processes. This innovative technique aims to optimise the management and production processes put in place by companies, helping to reduce consumption of resources by making all processes more efficient. The goal is to reduce investment, time and effort.

For years we have been taking action to minimise our waste. We reuse MDF waste for product packaging, optimise cutting procedures on materials, and recycle leftover materials for other orders and for sending promotional samples.

We installed a solar panel system so we can produce our own renewable energy.

At Ideatec we always try to use materials with a high proportion of recycled material. Our new Ideaflow range, for example, contains over 70% of raw materials sourced from the recycling of plastic bottles. And in our IdeaGarden range we use natural preserved reindeer moss on a PET base.

In 2021 we calculated the impact of our carbon footprint and are planning to install a solar power system that will enable us to use exclusively renewable energy in all of our production processes.

We work with water-based lacquers to avoid the use of volatile organic compounds in our lacquering processes.

The General Management at Ideatec is fully committed to meeting the DSGs (2030 Agenda) and we are working to improve any technical, industrial and human aspects that may be necessary to ensure that our industrial activities are as environmentally friendly as possible.
