Once again, at Ideatec we are pleased to present one of our latest projects, of which we are proud to have been a part . As in the fitting-out of the Los Vilos Cultural House, we have come to the Coquimbo region, in Chile. Specifically, it is the acoustic conditioning within the construction of the Atrium office building, in La Serena.
Atrium introduces a new concept of business building, with offices aimed at ensuring the quality of life of workers. It is an innovative construction located in one of the main avenues of the city. The idea was to provide a space for business that was attractive and dynamic, where art also had a place. Ideatec participated in the acoustic conditioning of the Atrium lobby, inspired by the spaciousness and careful lines of a hotel reception.
The team of architects we had the pleasure of working with was Sonoflex. It is a benchmark in South America for acoustic coating specialized in flexible polyurethane and acoustic insulation made from high-density vinyl.
The project consisted of the installation of suitable acoustic absorbent material to control the different auditory factors that affect the space and thus achieve noise reduction. In offices, specifically in common areas, it is essential to stop the annoying reverberation and ensure that conversations are clearly heard so that there is no loss of information. To do this, the ideatec team installed the Ideatefc acustic 32 panels, a solution as effective as it is elegant.
The ideacustic family provides excellent acoustic comfort in spaces related to high decoration. The finish chosen by the client was RAL lacquer in light gray tones, adapted to the aesthetics and brightness of the building. In this case, a wall in the Atrium lobby was covered, enough to absorb the noise produced in this area. Ideatec acustic 32 has an acoustic absorption and noise reduction coefficient of around 0.65 for 5cm of the total height of the Plenum plus 4cm of rock wool.
Standard 32 by ideatec acustic is a technical product designed for spaces that require careful acoustics, based on a system of slots of different widths and perforation diameters. These options are frequently used in modern architecture, as is the case of the Atrium building, due to its ability to meet the needs of rooms where it is necessary to integrate design and acoustic absorption.
Other characteristics of this product are that it is easily washable, resistant to impacts, scratches and high dirt. Therefore, it will have a long service life and no need for high maintenance. In addition, we adapt to the needs of the client and ideatec acustic 32 can be curved using the FLEX system and coated with water-repellent and fire-retardant treatments.
With this, we are proud to present you the result of our work, carried out by our professionals with great dedication and effort for the La Serena Atrium Building, in which a quality acoustic conditioning was achieved with unrivaled aesthetics.
