At ideatec we are pleased to present one of our latest projects, and of which we are proud to have been a part. This time we return to the United States, specifically to Miami, Florida. After our project in Lubavitch Aventura South, we embarked on the acoustic conditioning within the expansion project of the Young Israel synagogue. The work began in 2017 and consisted of the remodeling of a synagogue with a concrete structure and an interior dome, where special attention should be paid to the covering of the walls and false ceilings with high acoustic absorption materials. This is because in Orthodox Jewish temples no type of electronic reinforcement, microphone or speakers can be used. The team of architects with whom we had the pleasure of collaborating was Schapiro Associates, a benchmark company with a large team of professionals dedicated to a wide variety of solutions for all types of projects, with an emphasis on personal attention and the different possibilities that design brings. The project consisted of the installation of suitable acoustic absorbent material to control the different auditory factors that affect the space and thus achieve noise reduction. To do this, the ideatec team installed wood acoustic panels Ideaperfo Micro 05, a solution that combines the best acoustic absorption with the most avant-garde design. Wood is one of the most functional acoustic absorbers, trapping and dissipating sound waves. In this case, both the side walls and the stands were covered, enough to absorb the noise produced in the seating area. The chosen finish was Maple veneer, which combined perfectly with the interior design of the room. In addition, 4cm of rock wool was placed behind each panel to further improve the high absorption coefficient of our ideaperfo range. Ideaperfo Micro 05 has an acoustic absorption and noise reduction coefficient of 0.9 for 5cm of total height of the Plenum plus 4cm of rock wool, making it ideal for a space such as a synagogue, providing very good results and a finish. spectacular. Some additional features of this product is that it is resistant both to impacts and scratches, very important in spaces with a greater influx of people. In addition, it is an easily washable product, so the maintenance it requires is minimal. With this, we are proud to present the result of our work, carried out by our professionals with great dedication for the Young Israel Synagogue, in which quality acoustic conditioning was achieved.
