Acoustic conditioning of the Titanium Tower

Once again, at ideatec we are pleased to present one of our projects. On this occasion we travel to a territory that is very familiar to us, specifically to Santiago de Chile, the most important city in the country. In it we had the opportunity to work on the acoustic conditioning of the Titanium Tower. Currently, the Titanium Tower is the second tallest skyscraper in Chile and the seventh tallest in South America. It is one of the most emblematic constructions of recent years in Chile, not only because of its size, but also because of its environmentally friendly technology and its exemplary behavior in earthquakes. This desire to save energy and the efficient use of resources have earned it the LEED Gold pre-certification. The Titanium Tower houses a large number of services. On the first floor there are commercial premises, including a cafeteria, a bank and a gym. On the upper floors, users can also enjoy helipads and terraces with a “heat island effect”, with weather-resistant roofs that take advantage of water resources. The architect with whom we had the pleasure of collaborating was the team of Sonoflex, a reference in the manufacture of coatings and insulation in South America. The project consisted of the installation of adequate acoustic absorbent material to control the different auditory factors that affect the space. In a building as busy as the Titanium Tower, a place where many people pass through, it is essential to stop reverberation and ensure that conversations are heard clearly and that no information is lost. To do this, the ideatec team installed several models of acoustic panels from the ideacustic family, which provide excellent acoustic comfort in spaces related to high-end decoration.
In this case, the walls were covered in the spaces for offices. The products used were acoustic panels ideacustic Cardio. This product meets the acoustic needs of its range and, at the same time, presents a cardio diagram panel in the design, breaking with the classic straight line and giving an informal and fun air to stay. Ideacustic Cardio has an acoustic absorption and noise reduction coefficient of 0.30, ideal for a construction of these conditions. The main idea was to achieve optimum sound absorbency results and, at the same time, achieve a current and elegant design in white RAL color and gray lacquer.
Some additional characteristics of these products are that they are resistant panels both to impacts and scratches, factors that are very important in spaces with a large influx of people every day. day. In addition, they are easily washable products, so they require minimal maintenance. We are proud to present you the result of our work, carried out by our dedicated professionals for the Torre Titanium offices, in which a quality acoustic conditioning and a spectacular finish were achieved.< /strong>
