Silence has become an invisible luxury.
In a world dominated by constant noise, at Ideatec Advanced Acoustic Solutions we decided to stop, listen and propose something different. During our participation in Interihotel 2025, we launched SHHH Room, a sensory experience designed to reclaim the value of silence in the spaces we inhabit.
Noise: an invisible enemy of well-being.
Although it cannot be seen and leaves no residue, noise is one of the most aggressive pollutants to our health. According to the World Health Organisation, it is the second most harmful environmental factor, and 1 in 5 Europeans is exposed to levels above 55 dB.
Spain is the second noisiest country in the world, surpassed only by Japan.
The solution? Silence. As simple as it is powerful.
Science confirms it: two minutes of silence are enough to reduce anxiety and stress. Two hours a day of exposure to healthy sound environments can significantly improve our well-being.
This is the context in which SHHH Room was born, a sound detox proposal designed as a sensory oasis. Together with the creative team at Melon Breakers (María and Cathy), we shaped a space where acoustics, aesthetics and sustainability came together to offer a unique experience.
Because silence is not absence, it is presence.
And acoustic design can turn it into an experience.
SHHH Room: three rooms, one purpose.
The design of our stand at Interihotel Barcelona revolved around the SHHH Room concept, articulated in three spaces that showcased the versatility, acoustic performance and aesthetic value of our products:
– SHHH Room
A space completely clad with the Cell Modular Acoustic System, in an open layout, using double recycled PET on the walls and ceiling, accompanied by soft lighting. Designed to hear silence even in the noisiest of environments.
– Meeting room
With a more dynamic approach, this room combined walls with smooth PET acoustic panels and a ceiling with the Cell system. The result: a warm, professional and functional environment, ideal for workplaces, hospitality or collaborative spaces.
– Showroom
Featuring Idealux FL in the Flex version, with walnut melamine slats and a recycled PET base. On the ceiling, the version made entirely of PET provided a contemporary aesthetic and excellent acoustic performance.

We close this edition of Interihotel 2025 with pride, inspiration and lots of energy.
